The Righteous Food
Alliance
An alliance of small family
farms dedicated to providing clean and nutritionally dense food direct to
our community.
All Local & No Drugs
Our
vegetable farmers are all committed to being good
stewards: NO synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, NO GMO seeds and we
restore (or steward) the land by focusing on heirloom varieties, utilizing cover crop rotations
with
conscience water and soil conservation.
Our ranchers
and dairies are all committed to being good stewards as well:
NO hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products and raise livestock outdoors
on pasture the way nature intended.
By working together, our farmers can share
the cost for marketing, warehousing and distribution of our products
allowing them more time to focus on food production. The development of
this alliance has been fully funded by our community of food buyers via our
CSA program. By purchasing our local products, customers are making a
greater impact with their dollar by supporting multiple small family farms
and encouraging the responsible redevelopment of our local food economy.
This cooperation allows us to provide a greater diversity of fresh local
food, much greater than just any one small family farm could provide. The
result is a rewarding relationship between our community of farmers living
in the countryside and our supporting community of food buyers in the
surrounding cities. Together we can develop a more local and sustainable food
supply for future generations.
