This broccoli is a classic. Expect a large head followed by florets for continued harvesting. Leaves are edible and similar to collards but with a broccoli flavor. Grow Tip: feed heavy with nitrogen to increase yield. Transplant fall, winter and early spring.
Large heads and long stalks, 4–6" dark blue-green heads, arrayed with side shoots. Performs outstandingly in the fall; withstands cold.
Sow 2 seeds per cell in 72-cell plug flats. Seedlings should be ready to transplant in 3–4 weeks.
